 PURPOSE: Since 1999, the Hot Shops Art Center has become a thriving community of local, working artists and artisans. The 80+ artists occupying and exhibiting in 54 studios and shops warmly invite all to join them. Come visit the studios, view their very newest artwork and learn how they create them!
ARTWORK: The artwork created at the Art Center ranges from drawings, paintings, prints, photography and digital imagery to sculptures, installations, pottery, glass art, weaving, custom furniture, and clay, iron, brass, and aluminum cast architectural pieces.
DEMONSTRATIONS: Bronze pouring, clay work and raku firings, iron forging, and glass blowing are taking place in the south side of the building, plus many of the artists will also be demonstrating their work in the studios, such as painting, sculpture, and photography...
