Hot Shops Art Center’s 19th Annual
Spring Open House

Saturday, April 27th, 2019 (from 12pm to 6pm)
Sunday, April 28th, 2019 (from 12pm to 5pm)

The open houses are positively the best time to see the Hot Shops in all of its fiery, creative glory. The 80+ artists occupying and exhibiting in 54 studios and shops warmly invite all to join them and welcome spring. Goodbye cruel winter! Come visit the studios, view their very newest artwork and learn how they create them!

The artwork created at the Art Center ranges from drawings, paintings, prints, photography and digital imagery to sculptures, installations, pottery, glass art, weaving, custom furniture, and clay, iron, brass, and aluminum cast architectural pieces. If you haven't been to an Open House in moons, give it a go, the art at the Hot Shops is ever changing.

Bronze pouring, clay work and raku firings, iron forging, and glass blowing are taking place in the south side of the building, plus many of the artists will also be demonstrating their work in the studios, such as painting, sculpture, and photography...

Food vendors display their arts at the Shops in our Event Space. Follow your nose.

Come check out our galleries, artists will be on hand for the different shows on display. Follow our galleries link for complete listings of upcoming and current shows.
