Melanie Caudillo is a multidisciplinary visual artist and art educator based out of Omaha, Nebraska with San Antonio roots. Having lived in Texas during her early years, Melanie has been shaped by the culture and traditions of these differing environments. Melanie graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and began her profession as an art educator shortly thereafter. In 2021, she earned a Master’s in Art Education degree through the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

As a lover of nature and mother of three, these aspects of Melanie’s life serve as inspiration and find their way into her artwork. Known primarily as a mixed media artist, Melanie enjoys exploring a plethora of other media including photography, ceramics, and watercolor. Despite the medium used, Melanie’s work depicts an ongoing theme of transformation in one form or another. As a creative being and educator, Melanie’s goal is to use her artistic abilities to better herself, the community, and the world around her.
