Sawing is the foundation of silversmithing. Join Angela Szelag in the studio for this one day workshop to learn the basics of working with the jeweler’s saw and create a cut out sterling silver pendant in a shape of your choosing.
You will make a silver pendant. The choice of shape is yours! You can make a heart, a crescent moon, butterfly, tear drop, you name it! Not sure what you’d like to make? Templates are available to choose from and trace.
This is a beginning level introduction to silversmithing and the basics of sawing metal with a jeweler’s saw. No experience necessary.Comes with your choice of a 16″, 18″ or 20″ box chain.
All materials are provided.
Seats are limited. *Due to Covid: class sizes have been reduced to 4 students max, no exceptions. This is to allow for classes to continue and still abide by the 6 feet social distancing guidelines. Students will be required to wear masks during the sessions for the safety of other students.
For all classes minimum age requirement is 16. However, if you are under the age of 18 you will be required to have a parent to take the class with you.
Workshops are non-refundable.
**If you are affected by Covid or suspect that you may have it, please message or call me and we can make private arrangements to makeup your class once your health is back to normal.
