Beginning Jewelry – Hammered Earrings and Bezel Set Stone Rings

Beginning Silversmith Four Week Session

Monday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm

January 24 – February 7

During this four week session you will create two projects.

Project Details:

• Round hammer formed textured sterling silver earrings

• Bezel set cabochon stone ring with twisted rope detail

In this class you will learn the basic skillset needed to start your silversmithing journey. You’ll lear to use the jeweler’s saw, solder, form metal using different techniques and set stones too!

All materials for the class will be provided. A selection of stones will be available for you to choose from for your ring. All you have to do is come and have some fun! Feel free to bring a notebook and take notes if you’re a note taker. If you have long hair, you will be required to have it pulled back. For safety reasons, please avoid wearing loose clothing, scarves, etc as they can be a fire hazard.
