A beginner/intermediate sewing class, appropriate for all ages. I will assume that you know how to use a sewing machine. If you have taken my Learn to Sew class – you are ready to make a dress!
During this class learn how to use a sewing pattern to make a dress. We will use the pdf Style Arc pattern called the Hope Woven Dress. Due to copyright issues, the patterns are not included in the cost of the class and I will send directions on how to purchase and download the pattern when you sign up.
Over the two sessions of the class, we will learn about reading a sewing pattern, choosing the right size for you, cutting the fabric and sewing the dress. this will include sewing seams, hems, making elastic cuffs and attach a button and loop closure.
This class is the perfect entry into sewing your own clothing.
This class is held for 3 hours on three afternoons:
Sunday, July 9 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Sunday, July 16 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Sunday, July 23 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

There are no refunds on this class. Email Cindi prior to the class being held you are unable to come and you can transfer your place to another date of the same class.
