Sew Happy 101: Intro to Hand Sewing Workshop
Buttons, seams, snaps, oh my! Learn hand sewing skills for finishing or mending your own garments. Working on a fabric sampler, learn tricks for sewing buttons (with and without shanks- did you even know of such a thing?), snaps, and hooks and eyes/bars. If time allows, we will also learn some stitches that make for the best hem and seam mending. *Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite sewing kit if you have one.
